New Feature:The SMTP2GO WordPress Plugin

Since its release in 2003, WordPress has become one of the most widely used, and well-known, content management systems (CMS) in the world.

It’s plugin architecture feature, which allows users to extend the features and functionality of a website or blog, makes it incredibly versatile and it’s used by more than 60 million websites globally. 

As of January 2020, WordPress.org had almost 55,500 plugins available, each of which offers custom functions and features enabling users to tailor their sites to their specific needs. Now there’s a new SMTP2GO WordPress plugin to join the ranks! 

SMTP2GO’s technology gets your emails sent, with powerful deliverability and improved inbox reach, while robust reporting gives you a clear picture of what happens behind the scenes. With real-time analytics and tracking, we make it easy to optimize your campaigns from within your SMTP2GO account or API. 

SMTP2GO’s WordPress plugin replaces the default wp_mail() function and, once enabled, all outgoing mail sent through your WordPress installation will be sent via our servers. 

Functionality

• You can add custom headers to your emails, such as headers for custom tracking with third-party tools such as X-Campaign.
• You can set a default “From” name and email address.
• The ‘Test’ tab can be used to send a test email to ensure your configuration is correct.

Once you’ve installed and enabled the plugin, all emails originating from your WordPress installation will be routed via your SMTP2GO account.
