Here are some highlights from a recent EmailTooltester report (which includes sources).
Email remains one of the most powerful communication tools and its usage continues to grow year after year. In 2025, an estimated 376.4 billion emails will be sent every day, and by 2027, this number will climb to 408.2 billion.
But who’s sending all these emails? And how are users engaging with them? Let’s dive into the latest statistics shaping the future of email.
Email Usage Continues to Rise
- Nearly 4.2 million emails were sent every second worldwide in 2024.
- The global email user base is projected to reach 4.6 billion by 2025 – up from 4 billion in 2020.
