This guide provides step by step instructions on how to configure WordPress application to send email using SMTP2GO instead of the PHP mail() function.
Install one of the supported WP SMTP Plugin that allows SMTP setting modification. For this guide, we are using WP SMTP.
Activate downloaded WP SMTP Plugin and click Settings.
Enter mail.smtp2go.com into Host field. For TLS Encryption, set SMTP Secure to TLS and set Port to 2525, 25, 8025 or 587.
Set SMTP Authentication to Yes.
Enter your SMTP2GO username and password into Username and Password respectively. You can view and change these values by logging into your SMTP2GO control panel.
To save your settings, click the Save Changes button.
