These instructions assume you are setting up a brand new mail account in your iPhone.
After clicking ‘Add Account’, select ‘Other’ to add your account manually. On the next screen that you see, select ‘Add Mail Account‘ and enter your details.
Enter your details.
Make sure that the Address you enter is one that you have registered with SMTP2Go.
Click Save.
At the top of the next screen be sure to choose ‘IMAP’ or ‘POP’ depending on which type of incoming mail server you have. Most mail servers will use ‘POP’.
Enter your Incoming Mail Server details. Important: these are provided to you by your email provider and are *not* your SMTP2GO settings.
Click on the name of your current SMTP server.
Enter mail.smtp2go.com into the Host Name field. Enter your SMTP2Go SMTP user name into User Name and your SMTP password into Password. Make sure that Use SSL is set to OFF, and that Authentication is set to Password.
Set the Server Port to 2525. You can also try using Server Port 25, 8025 or 587.
