Select ‘Settings’ from the main screen in your iPad.
Select ‘Mail, Contacts, Calendars’ from the Settings screen.
If you have already added accounts, Select the account you want to modify and go to Step 6.
To add a new account, select ‘Add Account…’ from the ‘Mail, Contacts, Calendars’ screen.
Select ‘Other’.
Select ‘Add Mail Account’.
Enter your details.
Click Next.
You will be prompted for “Enter Your Account Information”. Select IMAP or POP.
Under Outgoing Mail Server Enter mail.smtp2go.com as the Host Name.
Enter your SMTP2GO SMTP user name into User Name and your SMTP password into Password
Important: do *not* change your Incoming Mail Server settings.
Click Save.
A message “Cannot Verify Server Identity” will appear. Press continue and wait for iPad to verify your account information.
Go to “Home > Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars” and select the mail account from the list.
Select SMTP under “Outgoing Mail Server”.
Make sure that Use SSL is set to OFF, and that Authentication is set to Password.
Set the Server Port to 2525. You can also try using Server Port 25, 8025 or 587.
Click Done.
Your iPad is now configured to send email using your SMTP2GO Account.
