The iPhone requires that a valid SMTP server be entered into its settings in order to send emails. SMTP2Go provides an SMTP server that can be used with iPhones from any location in the world. As long as your iPhone has access to the Internet, you’ll be able to send emails with SMTP2Go.
Setup instructions for the iPhone are below:
Step 1: Signup for an SMTP2Go account.
Step 2: Setup your iPhone following the instructions below:
| Select ‘Settings’ from the main screen in your iPhone:

| Select ‘Mail, Contacts, Calendars’ from the Settings screen:

| Click on the name of the account you wish to change. The account in this example is called ‘My account’:

| Click on the name of your current SMTP server.
Important: do *not* change your Incoming Mail Server settings.

| Enter smtp2go.com into the Host Name field. Make sure that the settings User Name and Password are blank, and that Use SSL is set to OFF.
Set the Server Port to 2525. You can also try using Server Port 25, 8025 or 587. You will also need to make sure that you are sending from an email address that you have registered with SMTP2Go.
